Get Her Back

Todo este mes de julio, de vacaciones en Jávea, me ha sido muy dificil publicar posts. Playa, paseos, terrazas, etc, han ocupado todo mi tiempo. Además, mis amigos, Pedro y Paula nos han visitado y hemos compartido con ellos unoa días muy agradadables. Hoy, a punto de regresar a Majadahonda, y antes de desmontar el ordenador publicaré un nuevo post, dedicado al cantante Robin Thicke y a una de las canciones de su nuevo album Paula.

Robin Thicke es un cantante, compositor y productor, californiano nacido en los Angeles el 10 de marzo de 1977, hijo de los actores Alan Thicke y Gloria Loring.

Después de componer canciones para otros, en el año 2003, ya cumplidos los 26 años, publicó su album de debut A Beautiful World, con poco éxito. A lo largo de estos años ha publicado siete albumes de estudio con distinta aceptación, pero mejorando.

El último album, Paula, se acaba de publicar este mes de julio y parece ser que está dedicado a su exposa, la actric Paula Pattón, con la que se caso el año 2005, pero en febrero de 2014 se produjo el divorcio. 

Algunos indicios nos pueden dar idea de los motivos de la separación. Entre ellos está el tipo de trabajo que ha realizado en los últimos tiempo. Al parecer ha declarado a la prensa que su esposa había dado el visto bueno.

Pero lo que ya rebasa el colmo del mal gusto es la actuación en los Premios MTV junto a la cantante Miley Cyrus, que no pierde ocasión de mostranos su lado oscuro, como si de ello dependiera su éxito como cantante. Publicaré el video de esa actuación para que cada uno  forme su opinión.

Ahora corresponde hablar del nuevo album Paula, y en concreto de la canción Get Her Back, segunda pista del mismo, que a  mi me gusta. Para ello he seleccionado un video de YouTube con esa canción, que espero sea de vuestro agrado
