Without Those Songs

Para finales de septiembre está anunciado el lanzamiento de cuarto album del grupo irlandés The Script que llevará por título  No Sounds without Silence. Ya se pueden oir algunaa pistas del nuevo album, en particular, he encontrado en YouTube un video con fotografías del grupo y el audio de la canción Without Those Songs, que publicaré para presentar el nuevo album.

The Script es una banda de pop rock originaria de Dublín, Irlanda, aunque en la actualidad, y tras firmar contrato con el sello  Sony Group Phonogenic, residen en Londres. La banda está formado por Danny O'Donoghue (voz y piano), Mark Sheehan (guitarra y voz) y Glen Power (batería y voz).

Danny O'Donoghue y Mark Sheehan se conocieron en un club en el área de The Liberties de Dublín, cerca de la fábrica de cerveza Guinness, y  ambos fueron parte de un grupo que se había formado en 1996 llamada MyTown. Su gusto compartido por la música y en  especial por la música negra, los unió. Viajaron a Canada y a los Estados Unidos donde permanecieorin varios años. A su regreso captaron a Glen Power y crearon el grupo The Script.

Su album de debut en el año 2008, fue The Sript, del que publicaron varios singles, y supuso un gran éxito. En 2009 la firma de lencería Victoria's Secret eligió su canción The Man Who Can't Be Moved como tema para su desfile anual The Victoria's Secret Fashion show 2009.

Y por fin, tras haber conseguido un continuo éxito con los citados albumes, a finales del este mes aparecerá su cuarto trabajo..

Como ya he comentado publico el video de la canción Without Those Songs, un balada melancólica, en la que recuerdan  a un gran número de figuras que han quedado en nuestra memoria gracias a sus canciones, y se preguntan que acontecimientos de sus vidas les influyeron para su creación ...
